Model Building Tools

 Nippers

- Tamiya Basic Nippers: Basically all you need to get started.  I've never seen these sold standalone, but they come included in the Tamiya Basic Tool Set which can be had on Amazon or your local hobby shop for around $30CAD

- Dspiae ST-A 3.0 Single Bladed Nippers: My go-to finishing nippers. Clean, flush cuts.  Durable and razor sharp cuts, even in narrow spaces.  I will always recommend these over the God Hand SP-N 120, 90% of the performance, half the cost, and much more durable.

Hobby Knife

- GSI Creos MT-701: Basic hobby knife, includes spare blades.
- Madworks MH-01 Multi Function Handle: Ergonomic handle designed to hold the Madworks line of chisel tips.  Used for custom scribing or deepening existing panel lines.

Sanding

- GunPrimer Raser: Cuts through nubs quickly and efficiently.  It doesn't clog up like your generic department store glass file and won't take off too much material when used properly.  Some call it overpriced but you get what you pay for and I would recommend these to straight builders to get the most out of their OOB kits.  These are more beginner friendly as they're omni directional.
- Dspiae SF-15 Siren: A glass file similar to the GunPrimer Raser, this is a much cheaper alternative. Single direction like a traditional file, but clogs up quicker. Clean out with brush.
- Dspiae Sanding Sponges: Varying grits of fine and coarse sanding sponges. You can use whatever brand you prefer. I prefer Dspiae.
- Gunprimer Balancer: Finishing sanding sponges to restore shine.

Cutting Mat

- Madworks Cutting Mat: 16.5 x 11.75 cutting mat, one side is grey with a grid, other side has suggestions for scribing panel lines.

Panel Liner

- Bandai Gundam Marker: Line your kits panel lines to give it a bit of a pop.
Tamiya Accent Liner: Same as above, but you dab it into the panel as opposed to drawing it in.  May cause damage, so please read the instructions carefully.  Do not use on bare plastic.

Misc. Hobby Tools

- Mr. Cement: Hobby cement. Mr Cement S/SP are "brush on" type that seeps into the gaps to form the bond after the piece is assembled. SP is stronger and dries quicker.
- Mr. Mark Setter: Waterslide decal setter, helps when it comes to repositioning your water slides.
- Mr. Mark Softer: Softening agent for waterslides, brush this over your placed decals to soften the edges and give it a finer look.
- Mr. Angled Tweezers: Thin tipped tweezers for stickers and waterslides
